NEASC is the United States regional accreditation association providing educational accreditation for all levels of education, from pre-kindergarten to the doctoral level, in the six-state New England region. Founded in 1885, it is the oldest of the regional accreditors in the United States.

 

The Commission on International Education (CIE) is the overseas accrediting arm of the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, Inc. located in Burlington, MA, USA. It is headed by CIE Director, Peter C. Mott, and CIE Chair, Christine McGrath, Director of Operations, Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents in Lexington, Massachusetts.  

Also, consists of 14 members who serve CIE by gathering four times a year to review visiting team reports for continued and initial accreditation, along with progress reports, five year-reports, special reports and preliminary and preparatory reports.  All reports that affect our candidate and accredited schools go before the commission for their input, discussion and decision.

The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a membership community committed to high quality international education.

As a global non-profit membership organisation, CIS provides services to primary and secondary schools, higher education institutions and individuals that share these ideals:

  • a desire to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens; and

  • a commitment to high quality international education.

To achieve this goal, their members must infuse their programmes and offerings with international and intercultural perspective so that students can move forward with the attitudes and understanding that will provide them with a solid base wherever their studies or work may take them.  Elementary and secondary school members must further commit to undertaking an ongoing external quality assurance process to enhance student learning.

The ECDL Foundation has appointed and licenced ICDL Arabia as the sole body authorized to implement and disseminate the programme in the GCC, Iraq and Egypt with the support of the region's leading educational bodies and accredited training and testing centers. ECDL / ICDL Certifications have been delivered to more than 14 million students with more than two million of them registered in the region.

 

ICDL Arabia is a regional leader in the provision of digital skills for the modern workplace. With at least 90% of  jobs requiring basic digital skills, ICDL Arabia provides individuals and employers efficient digital skills to promote, support and sustain human and economic development across the region.
