Winter Trip to Switzerland and France

During the winter vacation of every year, the school offers an opportunity for high school students (boys) to travel to a destination of their choice. This academic year 2014-2015 the choice was Switzerland and France.

These kinds of trips are not only for leisure and tourism. But it covers some educational and cultural parts too. Where the students visited the Headquarter of the United Nation (UN), United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) and the Red Cross in Geneva – Switzerland, in addition to touristic sites such as the lake of Geneva and Gruyere the Cheese factory. Moreover the students visited the Mont Blanc Mountain where they experienced skiing on real snow in Chamonix –Mont Blanc with an elevation approx. 1500m above sea level.

While in France the trip covered The Louvre Museum: which is one of the world's largest museums and a historic monument, Versailles Palace: which is the palace of the royal family and the center of political power in France from 1682 till the French revolution, the famous Eiffel Tower and Stade de France where France defeated Brazil 3–0 in the 1998 FIFA World Cup Final.
