“I Am a Muslim” was the topic of the KG2 glittering and inspiring Graduation Ceremony this year at Al-Ittihad Private School - Al Mamzar on 28th of May 2015.

Director General, Ms. Amna Mohamad Rafi, graced the occasion with her presence. The mood of the well-decorated Kindergarten Section was made more festive by the excited and very emotional parents anxiously waiting to see their precious children on the stage. The KG Principal and her team received the guests with a sense of pride for the achievements of the past year. The ceremony began with the National Anthem and Holy verses from the Quran followed by KG 2 students expressing their appreciation of their identity as a Muslim with ease, pride and understanding. They were well rehearsed and presented short skits, songs and information about the pillars of Islam, the Prophet’s life, facts about Muslim inventors and ended the program by highlighting the importance of honoring parents and Allah’s Blessings.

Aligned with the Vision and Mission of Al Ittihad Schools, the focus of Ms. Nadine Al-Hassan, the KG Principal has been to enforce Islamic values and preserve the cultural heritage. She believes that inculcating Islamic teachings from this age would ensure that the future generation will develop into good Muslims and useful citizens of their country who will spread peace and the spirit of Islam by practicing honesty, righteousness and brotherhood.
With the students singing the traditional “goodbye song” which filled the hearts of parents with pride and love, the impressive and grand ceremony came to an end. Everyone present was overwhelmed by the electrifying moments of seeing students in the black gowns and graduation caps walking proudly among the cheers of the audience as the parents shed joyful tears, making the morning a precious and cherished memory.
Congratulations Class of 2015!
