School Timing for the Academic Year 2015-2016

School starts on September 13th, 2015 for Grade 1 to Grade 4.

 

Class Schedule

Sunday to Wednesday: Classes start at 8:00 a.m. and end  at 2:35 p.m.        

Thursday: Classes start at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m.

 

School Uniforms

• Students are required to wear their school uniforms with black shoes regularly.

• Furthermore, students are required to wear their PE uniforms during their sports class.

• School uniforms are available at Emirates Industries, Hana Centre, Al Deyafa Street, Dubai-UAE.(Tel:  04- 3989007)

 

School Attendance and Punctuality

• Elementary Assembly time starts at 7:40 every morning.

• Parents are more than welcome to attend their child’s performance during assembly time.

• Accordingly, punctuality is highly appreciated in our section as this is a rewarded behavior that will add up to students’ achievements and performance.

 

Stationery

Class teachers will inform parents about the stationery lists needed. We expect our students to purchase regular stationary since it will be shared among students of the same class.

 

Textbooks

• The textbooks will be distributed inside the classroom.

• All textbooks should be clearly labelled and laminated with the student’s name, grade and section and returned to the relevant home room teacher within the first week.

 

Proper Nutrition

• The school promotes a healthy life style.

• Eating Junk food, chocolates and candies are not allowed, instead, encourage students to bring healthy lunches; fruits, raw vegetables, juices, water and sandwiches.

Parents are kindly requested to:

• Send sanitary hand wipes with their kids, to clean their hands before eating.

• Label children lunchboxes with names, grades and sections.

In order to achieve the maximum educational growth of the child, a collaborative partnership between parents and school is highly needed, keeping in mind that you need to schedule an appointment to be able to discuss your child’s performance with the teacher.

Parents Contract

Students will not be officially registered at KHDA unless the parents sign the electronic contract. Please make sure that you attend the school to sign this contract as soon as you are informed of the dates. Your promptness in this matter is highly valued.
