Donation of used text books to a school in Liberia

 

Dear Parents

 

In alignment with the mission and vision statement of our school we encourage our students to be socially and morally conscientious and to not only be sensitive towards their role in our community but also to play an integral role on an international platform.

As we are all geared up to embark into the new academic year 2014-2015, we would like to encourage our students to donate their used textbooks from K-12 (optional) instead of recycling their books.

We plan to donate these books to a school in Liberia where there is an academic need for text books and readers and an urge to rebuild and refurbish the school’s library for the new academic year 2014-2015.

 Since these textbooks are very expensive, many children in other parts of the world are not able to afford them and our contribution to this school in Liberia, will be a noble gesture where children in need will benefit hugely.

We shall appreciate your kind donation of used textbooks before or on 3rd September 2014 and will provide specific boxes in the reception areas of each section for these donations.
