The Elementary section’s smart, spacious classrooms are complemented by first-class facilities, highly skilled and excellent teaching and administrative staff members who promote quality teaching and learning and an excellent working atmosphere. These include a gym, prayer room, sport fields, a swimming pool and two ICT suites as well as an outdoor learning environment and play areas equipped with jungle gyms, trim trail, play parks, green grass areas and adventure playgrounds which inspire the children to flourish.

 

The school’s library is a bright bustling hub of activity to enhance our students’ English and Arabic language proficiency and a wide range of stimulating and innovative learning opportunities. Our Arabic and Islamic Departments allow students not to only acquire the language but, at the same time, develop the full range of their religious and cultural heritage. We offer individual and group learning support and our own Sport specialists ensure the highest quality Physical Education lessons and provide after school clubs for our students.

 

At Al Ittihad Private School’s Elementary section, we foster in our students self-confidence, responsibility for own learning, respect for themselves and others and the opportunity to envisage learning as a lifelong experience and to become independent learners and global citizens. At Al Ittihad Elementary we inspire and motivate our students and create a thriving learning environment which inspires their self-confidence to enable them to work hard and to achieve the highest levels of educational standards and sustained personal growth.

 

Our American Curriculum with the Core Standards offers a holistic approach which nurtures the broad development of the students and focuses on their intellectual, emotional, social, physical, creative or intuitive, aesthetic and spiritual potentials. We model best practice using critical standards and an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. Our student’s visits through educational excursions and community visitors are important elements at Al Ittihad Elementary section which not only contribute to consistently enriching of our American curriculum but also nurture further cognitive development, attainment and performances of our students.

 

Good attendance and proper behavior is mandatory in a school setting. We have developed a system of tracking students who exhibit good attendance and proper behaviors. Students who show good attendance records and maintain clear discipline records will be rewarded throughout the school year.

 

We are proud of our section’s Health Clinic and our medical doctor and nurse who are well qualified and who keep our students’ health information up to date. At Al Ittihad Elementary section we believe that every child has the potential to achieve and it is our core purpose to do everything we can to maximize the learning and teaching opportunities for their success.
